Thursay 15 th Jauary 2026

We had a really enjoyable morning at Suffolk One with 18 children all taking part in 2 track and 2 field events each. We were really impressed with the children’s sporting attitude with each other, including high fives at the end of races and lots of encouragement throughout. We must mention Ffion’s amazing technique in the over/under race when she went through the tunnel. We were all blown away by it!

Well done everyone, you were a credit to the school!

Some of our pupils  went to Clip n Climb where they thoroughly enjoyed their morning! They challenged themselves and by the end of the session had gained a lot of confidence. Big shout out to Freddie and Graysen who were commended for helping and encouraging the other school who was present in our session.
Well done everyone for a rewarding morning!

School Games Cross Country

On Wednesday 25th March we took 32 children from years 4, 5 and 6 to the annual cross country event at The Royal Hospital School, Holbrook.

Our children performed brilliantly with everyone completing the course.

A big shout out to Harrison for being our highest finisher in 4th position, to Kian and Mila (both Year 3) who ran the Year 4 race, Reuben (Year 4) who ran the Year 5 race, Preston (Year 5) who ran the Year 6 race and Issac for stepping in to compete just as the bus was leaving!

The photographs show blue skies and sunshine, but don’t be fooled, the hailstones came down in force, but our resilient children kept on running!

We are very proud of all of you, not just for competing, but also for supporting each other throughout.

School Games U11 Girls Futsal

On Monday 23rd March we took two teams to the above competition.

Our develop team won 4 out of their 5 games, rotating positions and supporting each other throughout.  There were a lot of goals scored, much to the delight of the girls!

Our compete team won their way through to the final through great team attitude and spirit working collaboratively throughout! The final was a very close match with full time finishing at 0.0. It then proceeded to extra time with a golden goal to decide the game.  However, the two teams continued to match each other equally so it had to go to penalties. Unfortunately, we lost out on penalties, but we are very proud of the girls for their achievement. A big thank you to the develop girls’ team for staying to cheer the team on in the final!

Thank you to all the parents/carers for the transportation and support.

They had an enjoyable morning working together and supporting each other throughout.

Thank you to the parents/carers for their transportation to and from the event.
