BasketballSchool Games Basketball Tournament Tuesday 11th February 2025
We entered a team in the above basketball tournament from our Wednesday basketball club.
The girls played one half of each game and the boys played the other half. As the morning progressed, we gained in confidence and displayed some good skills and scored some good baskets.
Well done to all the players who displayed good sportsmanship and collaboration.

Cross Country
School Games Cross Country Wednesday 2nd April 2025
We took 24 children from Years 4, 5 and 6 to the Cross Country event at Royal Hospital School. Year 4 ran 1,500M and Years 5/6 ran 2,200M.
We were very proud of all our children who completed the course. An extra shout out to Rory (Year 6) who finished 3rd and Benjamin (year 6) and Harrison (Year 4) who both finished 9th. A special mention to Mason (Year 5) who ran as a Year 6 and had his own fan club as the Year 4 children chanted his name for the whole race (despite Mason only being able to hear it for 10% of that time!). The children were amazing in supporting and encouragig each other as they cheered them on for the last 200M.
Well done to all our runners, you were an absolute credit to the school!

ITFC Football Festival Tuesday 3rd December 2024
We took some children from Years 5 and 6 to a football festival at Portman Road. They played 8 games, each lasting 7 minutes each.
The team displayed great sportsmanship; taking it in turns to go in goal, being substituted and shaking hands at the end of each game. When the festival was complete, they were able to go through to the stadium for the presentation of the certificates.
Well down to everyone for displaying great character on the day!
Year 5/6 Girls
School Games U11 Girls Football Tournament 15th October 2024
We took 7 girls to the above event which meant they would play every minute of every match!
They rose to the challenge and displayed a positive team spirit and collaboration throughout. They played some strong opposition, were only narrowly defeated in some games and drew the other games.
They gained experience when changing positions in different games, but maintained the positivity.
They were a credit to the school! Well done girls!

PanathalonPanathlon Swimming Competition Friday 14th March 2025
We enjoyed an afternoon at Crown Pools for the Panathlon swimming competition. The children took part in 25M and 10M freestyle and backstroke, followed by two relays. They then participated in a slam dunk relay, raft race and a treasure hunt.
We were extremely proud of our team who finished in third place, and were awarded bronze. They displayed good sportsmanship and collaboration and were a credit to the school.

School Games Christmas Cracker Thursday 5th December 2024
We took some children from Years 5 and 6 to the School Games Christmas Cracker where the activities included: dance, circus skills, archery, cricket and boccia. They really enjoyed the morning and displayed some great skills throughout!
Well done to everyone for being encouraging and supportive of each other!
